About:

A thankful heart opens the door to a vibrant relationship with Jesus. Jesus Calling®: 50 Devotions for a Thankful Heart brings the warmth and insight that more than 25 million people have enjoyed through Jesus Calling® in devotions curated specifically to help you see the blessings God has poured out on your life and help you develop a heart of gratitude.

Jesus Calling®: 50 Devotions for a Thankful Heart features 50 readings from Jesus Calling® gathered together in a new way and combined with relevant Scripture verses on the topic of thankfulness.

This book is part of a three-book series for teens, each focusing on a felt need. The other two books in the series focus on themes of growing your faith and dealing with busy days. These books are great for an individual study and make a great set for gift giving.

My Thoughts:

I’m loving going through this Jesus Calling devotional. Each devotional is short but very impacting – there are no words to recommend it enough, especially for any teen. I think every age can get something from these devotionals, really. But they are perfect for teens, and I think it would be an amazing source of encouragement and inspiration for them.
The meaningful devotionals come in a small book that is easy to bring along anywhere or just keep at home. The cover is attractive, and inside, besides the devotionals, are beautiful art pieces with verses on them. I love that part as well.
Definitely, definitely recommend it. :)

My Thoughts:

This edition of the beloved devotional, Jesus Calling, is stunning! I am in love with the Jesus Calling devotionals, and I especially love the larger versions which include the whole verses at the end of each devo instead of just the verse references in the smaller sized devotionals.
The content is fantastic, as I’ve stated before in past reviews, so I will primarily be focusing on the outside of this edition. Which is beautiful, truly! I love the fabric feel to the hardcover, and the design is lovely. It is simple yet captivating, and I think it compliments the amazingness of the inside very well!
I highly recommend these devotionals, and definitely love this edition!

My Thoughts:

I’ve actually already reviewed the content of this beautiful devotional, but this one is different in style – it is smaller, and the cover more intricate than the last. And oh-so beautiful! It is truly stunning to look at.
As I said in my first review of this book, the devotionals are heart-touching and so meaningful. I love all of the Jesus Calling Devotionals that I have read, as they minister right to the heart. They bring comfort and wisdom, and I highly recommend them. :)

My thoughts:

I looooove the Jesus Calling devotionals. I may have more than two…or more than three…Okay, so I have four different ones. And I love them all. I was very excited to see this one come available for review, because who doesn’t need comfort from Jesus?
I love how these devotionals are written, as Jesus speaking to us. It feels very personal, and I definitely believe that the Lord uses them. There have been so many times where I am feeling low or discouraged, etc. and open to a devotional page and it’s exactly what I needed to hear.
In this one, they are the devos selected from the bigger one, Jesus Calling, so I have read them before, but many seem like reading them new, and they do share immense comfort. And the artwork! Oh my. I wasn’t expecting that, but each devotional page has a piece of art on the other side with a verse scripted across it, and then also some pages in between devotionals with Bible verses elegantly scripted across a lovely scene. It really is beautiful, and so peaceful and calming.
So yes, I definitely recommend this devotional, as well as the other Jesus Calling devotionals!

My Thoughts:

I love these “Jesus…” devotionals. They’re so beautiful, and full of Biblical truth, spoken from Jesus. I can be kind of picky when it comes to daily devotional books, but these have been a blessing to me, each day feeling like it came right from Yahweh just for me. The Lord definitely uses them in my life, and I find great encouragement in them.
“Jesus Always” has a beautiful cover, leather-like binding, and lovely script. This book is larger in size than my other devos, and is easy to read.
I definitely recommend “Jesus Always”, as well as the other devotionals compiled by Sarah Young. They’re full of truths and comfort.
