It’s Show Time

Hello :)

Faith P. at Stories by Firefly! tagged me for the It’s Show Time tag! So, I shall do that. :) Thanks Faith!

1.Who’s your favorite actors?
Hmm…I’m not sure I have super favourite actors/actresses…there are some I like, but otherwise…I can at least say Richard Armitage with confidence. In “North and South”. Haven’t actually watched him in much else. But him as Mr. Thornton is amazing.
 Loooooove this picture.:
"I’m well aware that in your eyes at least, I’m not a gentleman. But I think I deserve to know why I am offensive.":
2.Who’s your favorite actress?
Umm, again not sure…I love Justine Waddell in the beloved “Wives and Daughters”!
"He's a very old friend ...He's very kind and not at all like anyone I know, he gave me a wasps nest as a present once." - Molly Gibson (about Roger Hamely), Wives & Daughters <3 Aww!:  Awwwwww. "Yes, yes I will." Hehehe. "Wives and daughters":
and Ruby Bentall in both “Poldark” and “Larkrise to Candleford”
Verity Poldark (Ross' cousin/Francis' sister) (Ruby Bentall) "Extraordinary!" "Right away Ma'am; I'll do it in a minute, Ma'am!" Minnie! (Lark Rise to Candleford)
3.What’s your favorite animated movie?
Oh you just had to ask. Well, one the obvious ones of course, is How To Train Your Dragon!
How to Train Your Dragon:
And I also enjoy other ones…The Lego Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Tarzan, etc. :)
probably one of my favorite parts <3....tarzan's face haha: "Fine, fine, fine, fine" -Batman.:
4. Do you like to have a snack while you watch a movie? If so, what’s your favorite?
Oh definitely. :) Umm…favourite…maybe a homemade icecream malt. Otherwise, I love just about anything chocolate!
5.What’s your favorite genre?
I’m gonna echo Faith’s: Genre? Ermm…I don’t know. Clean, no magic, no fear of having to forward…I like some of the English/BBC movies because those are usually clean, and enjoyable!
6.What’s you’re favorite TV shows?
I really only watch TV shows on dvd…not straight from TV, but some favourites are Psych (first few seasons), Call the Midwife (the first couple seasons), Downton Abbey, AFV (that I do watch on tv), and…Larkrise to Candleford. Also, in some of these, we forward/skip, so I don’t wholly recommend them. :)
7.What’s your top favorite movie?
Not quite the fairest question there…I love “Wives and Daughters”. “North and South”. “Persuasion”. The HTTYD movies. So…those. XD
8.Are there any movies coming out soon you can’t wait to see?
I’m looking forward to “Finding Dory”, but with caution…have heard several reports of tears and emotions….
9.What’s your favorite sport based movie?
Don’t know that I have one. I’m not a huge “sports” person. I guess “Facing the Giants”. (That sounded bad… “I guess…” as if it’s not good. That’s not true! It’s a very good movie. :))
10.What was the last movie you watched in the theaters?
I believe it was “Despicable Me 2” – we don’t go to theatres often…prefer to watch at home. :)
As for tagging people…I’m not going to. I know, I can be such a boring person. XP But if you would like to do this one consider yourself tag, and be sure to let me know so that I can read yours too! :)

I am a peculiar treasure who is passionately in love with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love writing, reading, knife/tomahawk-throwing, and letter-writing, among other things. :)

  1. Good list! :) I don’t recommend anything that I’ve seen Richard Armitage in other than North and South. I LOVE his in that to, but have yet to find anything else I love in since. He’s a good actor, but doesn’t play very loveable charcters! LOL! At least not in the movies I’ve watched him in……. :)

    1. Aw, that’s too bad, but pretty much what I figured. I do just absolutely adore him in N&S though! :) Haha, it’s a shame! I saw him as Sir Guy in Robin Hood but only watched a couple episodes. He’s best as Thornton, that’s a certainty! :) Thanks for commenting, Amada!

  2. Awesome tag! Richard Armitage (especially in N&S) is one of my favorites ^.^ I really loved Justine Waddell and Ruby Bentall’s performances as well. They’re such cute, quirky actresses :) I have to say that one of my all time favorite actresses is probably Cate Blanchett. She astounds me every time *sigh* Otherwise I really love Gillian Anderson. Actors are much harder for me to choose because I’m less picky :)

Do we need to talk about how cute Tarzan is? Jane is a total muffin and Jane + Tarzan is just happiness ^.^ I cannot get over how adorable/awkward it all is. Very relateable :D

And YES to all of the TV shows you mentioned! Call the Midwife and Downton Abbey are two of my favorites (even though they’re not perfect). And basically any BBC novel-adapted dramas. They’re all SO good!!!! *happy sigh*

    1. It’s a fun one indeed. :) Yes, great actor/actresses! I haven’t seen a lot of either Cate Blanchett or Gillian Anderson. But I think GA did a great job in Bleak House!

I know! *Sigh* I just love Tarzan, and Jane! Super sweet!
Yay for a fan of shared shows! So good!! I love me some BBC! XD
      Thanks for commenting, Abigayle!

  3. :D I enjoyed reading your answers, Raechel! Thanks for doing this — such fun to read. :) Of the things you’ve mentioned, I’ve only seen Facing the Giants and Lark Rise to Candleford. I always seemed to catch that one mid-show so I was always a little confused as to what was happening. :P I remember liking the guy with the messenger boy cap (can’t remember his name!) who often hung around the girl main character. Grr, I can’t remember her name either! XP

    1. Thanks, Faith! Oh I hate when that happens!:P Hmm…perhaps Alfie? The main girl, Laura, had a different guy in almost every season…XD There was Alfie (one of my favourite characters of the show, and he ends up with someone adorable!), Philip, Fisher, and Daniel. :D Fisher was handsome…XD
It is a good series though. We’ve watched it so many times, and it does get more irritating the more you watch it – haha! – but we still enjoy it! :D

      1. Alfie sounds familiar…. *does a quick Google search* Ahhh, yes, mint was Alfie that I remember. ;) Oooo, Fisher is handsome. Not that I noticed… *cough*
I enjoyed it when I watched it as well! :)
