Tyndale Review: 30 Days to a More Beautiful You – a devo for girls by Kylie Bisutti

Title: 30 Days to a More Beautiful You – a devotional for girls.
Author: Kylie Bisutti
Type: Non-fiction, inner beauty, devotional
Source: Tyndale
Number of Pages: 63
My rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Despite what the world leads us to believe, true beauty has nothing to do with outward appearances. The more we focus on what we look like on the outside, the more insecure we become.
Fortunately, God doesn’t measure our worth by how we look. We have value simply because we are His children. The more we focus on getting our hearts right with the Lord and honoring Him, the more secure and confident we will become—and the more we will exude true beauty.
In 30 Days to a More Beautiful You, former Victoria’s Secret Runway Angel Kylie Bisutti gives a complete inner-beauty makeover with succinct devotional readings designed to transform your heart, body, mind, and soul and put you on the path to becoming a happier, healthier, more beautiful you.
The perfect gift for every young woman, this devotional will forever change the way you define the word beautiful.

My Review:

I quite enjoy devotionals, so I was looking forward to trying this one. Some devotionals can be in-depth and good, and others can be lacking. This one, however, was very well-written, and you can tell Kylie Bisuttu shares from the heart. It is all sincere, and past-experience for her. I really appreciate that. This devotional, though very short, has depth to it, and plenty of wisdom.
I haven’t read her whole story, but what I have gleaned from this devotional, I am encouraged by Kylie Bisutte’s testimony, and would be interested in reading her book, “I’m No Angel”.
I think this devotional would be a great influence on young teen girls especially, as they try to find their way in the world. But it is a good devo for all ages, truly.
It’s beautifully crafted, and encourages us that inner beauty from the Lord is more important than outward beauty.

Note: I received this book free from Tyndale for the purpose of this review.

I am a peculiar treasure who is passionately in love with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love writing, reading, knife/tomahawk-throwing, and letter-writing, among other things. :)
