I was going to have my title be “Men stare at
goats I mean, girls” but the ‘goats’ wouldn’t cross out for the title. Oh well. (And “men stare at goats’ is a movie, which I have never seen, and will most likely never see.)
I have sadly been opened up to the ‘world’ and am now aware how many creepers there really are. I mean, I’ve sort always been aware of it, with an older sister, but now that my older sister is married, and not with us, I’ve been the one getting a lot more stares and glances. It might not be so bad if the guys were mostly around my age, and had a right to glance my way (but still…) but some are not, and …ewww.
You see, last night was the Azure Food Truck, that my Mum is ‘in charge’ of. It drops off the food at our church, and we sort through it, then the people in ‘our’ group come pick their food up. It’s a long process. But anyway. Our church is being built onto – all that’s really left is inside stuff, I believe. The main building structure is up. And the front of the church is all windows, and then the two glass doors. Well I was sorting someone’s box, right in front of the window, just minding my own business, and these two guys walk by. (Which is weird in it’s self, because they walked up the ramp, not down my the sidewalk which is way in front) And they were both ‘old’. Not old old, but like…in their 4o’s maybe. And Mum was watching apparently as they walked by. She told me that the one was smiling and looking me up and down to beat the band. To which I replied “Ewwwww. Creep.” I mean, seriously! I’m certain I do not look older than my teens. And that’s just creepy for an older guy to do that. Does this world not have any sense of morals? Of course not. Silly question.
Then at the place we get our Christmas tree, there was this other guy. I don’t know how old he was – closer to my age range I think. But he kept following me. I didn’t like it. He started following me in the building where we pay for the tree, then we thankfully left that building and went over to the reindeer, and he followed me out there too.
I got a whole bunch of stares at the Tree Farm, but I am hoping quite so that it was from wearing my cloak.
But yes, it is established that there are a lot of creepers in the world. And I’d rather they veer their beady eyes of me. Thank you.
