My Island

Matthew 15:11

“Not what goes into a mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man” —Matthew  15: 11

I reread this verse maybe five times last night, when I was skimming through my Bible, just reading random verses. When most people think of this verse, they think “Well, be careful with your words, and what you say.” ect. I did that for a while. When I really looked at it, and reread it, the warning “It doesn’t just defile YOU, but it defiles OTHERS.”  rang in my mind.  What comes out of your mouth, will hurt others, not just yourself. How often do we say things that come to mind, without thinking of it? Do we take each word into thought before we actually say them out loud? I know everyone has heard this a million times. If you are in a Christian family, surely your Mum has said it to you  more than a million times: “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say it at all.”  And how many times have we just blown it off? I am found guilty of it. I think “Yes, I know.” but then go on with my day. Now thankfully, I have gotten better as I have grown older, but what about all those years, I didn’t care what I said to Noah or Dallas? Though I did use my hands for bad, more so than my words, I know I have still said unkind things. I feel horrible thinking of it. Graciously, God is a god of forgivness, and I have already been forgiven. I also know that my sisters have forgiven me as well.  I want to get better at it, so that I don’t have to keep asking for their forgivness in that area. It will always be a battle, because our mouths have power. And most of all, so does Satan, to convince us that ‘its okay’.

But really, it is so vitally important to take into account each and every word we say to our family, siblings, friends, and even strangers! Does your mouth  proclaim Jesus Christ, or other words?

An engagement :)

I have some exciting news!!!!! David PROPOSED to Dallas yesterday at Under Water World!!!!!! The whole story is quite amazing. God had all this set in place before. It’s cool :)

So, a while back, Dallas had a dream that David proposed to her in Under Water World, but didn’t really want to hope or anything  -and don’t worry, she was completely surprised when he did ask! But anyway. Dad wasn’t ready. He didn’t want to give them the okay, because he, being a Dad, didn’t want to give Dallas away. But God eased his heart, and told him, it was the right time. So yesterday morning, before we all left, Dad told David all this, outside. Dallas still had no clue.

And what else, is before David came out here yesterday, he was about to bring the ring, but decided against it. And here is another weird part. I had a dream the night before we went to Under water w. that David carried around the ring with him everywhere!

So that was kind of it for the morning. We got down to Mall of America around eleven am and first went through Under Water World. It seemed to go really fast, so we decided to go through it again, just after we eat and look around at some of the stores for things we needed. So after we did that, we went through Under Water World again, and this time David thought it was the right time – he didn’t even know that Dallas had that dream though. It was toward the middle that he decided he was going to finally ask her. But he didn’t have the ring, so he went ahead to the gift store, and bought a little ring, to act as the ring, till he could place the real one on her finger when we got home. While David was doing that, Dallas was just taking pictures, still not knowing what was being planned. David got the ring, but didn’t get a chance to actually ask her that time through. So we went again. And he almost didn’t get a chance. but towards the end of it, he got down on his knee, and asked Dallas to marry him!!!!!!!!!! She thought he was joking at first, but quickly realized it was real!!! She of course said yes :)

We were all a little teary-eyed, but happy tears. It was great :) I can’t believe she is actually now officially engaged, and next comes the wedding. And if it is God’s will, they want it to be in May of this year, because they want a short engagement, and Dallas want’s lilacs for her flowers. They’re not sure, though where to have the wedding, or who is going to marry them…they want to have the wedding reception at least, up north, so our grandparents could come to that…we’ll see. God has it all planned out!

Wow. It’s all a lot :)

After that whole deal, we went out and looked at a couple more stores, just for fun, like The American Girl Doll place, and the Nickelodeon Universe park. Then we went home. Well we stopped at a couple places on the way home, to get stuff we needed, grocery wise. :)

So that was an exciting day!  More exciting then any of us would have guessed!

So, we had a very grand day, and that is about all I think I am going to say!

Does, anyone know why my Buzz is having huge issues? Any of you people who Buzz? I can reply to anything on my gmail buzz, and they just keep piling up…it’s getting annoying.

So, yesterday I got quite a bit done :D After cleaning the house with Mum and Dallas, I did dishes, went out and cleaned the barn – the runin for Promise, Dolly and my mule, Adora. And after wheeling about 5 wheel barrows full, I stopped, because my arms were broken, since I haven’t pitched stalls in a while. Then I got the mail (sadly I didn’t receive anything, but it was alright, because I am behind in letters again) then I went upstairs and wrote back a pen-pal, then cleaned a guinea pig cage, then did some smaller stuff. At 5:15pm I think it was, I played chaperone for Dallas and David, because she needed to go into town to Altel to switch her phone over, and David was the only one who could bring her, so I had to go with. David tried to get me to be the chauffer rather than the chaperone, but I maturely declined ;) Haha. And today, we will be gone all day! Yay :) We get to look at fishies, and sting rays, and sharks, oh and dresses. Hahaha. Dallas wants to look at some Bridal shops while we are down there. So that is what Mum, me and she are going to do afterwards. And Dad, David and Noah will do something else. It they decided to do something more fun, I will hang out with them, but we’ll see :)

I am hoping to get some reading and writing done on the car ride there. It’s about 2 or so hours away :P

Happy Valentine’s Day ;)

Jyep. It’s that day again. The one that comes once a year, and people spend lots of money for their sweethearts. Kind of silly in my opinion, but hey, the world doesn’t go round by my dictation!

I made a valentine for…no one really. It was just funny. So here is a picture:

“Valentines are for Dum-Dums” Heh heh heh. Got the idea out of a Family Fun magazine. And I just happened to have dum-dum sucker from LAST Valentine’s day, and so there you go. Merry Christmas. Tomorrow is my birthday and I am getting married. Arrivederchi, and all those other weird sayings that I so often say that aren’t usually true, becuase if it was Christmas time, and my birthday was tomorrow, plus I was getting married tomorrow, well we’d have a problem. Especially since I am only fifteen, and can’t get married yet, nor am I wanting to, because I am 15. I would very much like to go see the world and mission first, if that is God’s will of course.

Now I need to go and do some school, because that is what we do. Happy Valentine’s Day all you lovers ;)

Phoning all the way.

I don’t really know why I have that as my title, but does it really matter? I guess I could type something that has to do with the title. Like how I talked on the phone twice in two days last week ;) First day, as some of you already know, a friend, by the name of Flossie, phoned me. Which was amazing. Then the next day I phoned a friend, I’ve had for a long time. She was actually my first pen-pal, believe it or not. I couldn’t believe that I actually still had her phone number from when I called back when we were like 11 and 12. So I gave her a call, and we talked for a while. Now I am sure this doesn’t seem out of the ordinary for most people, but for me, this was a pretty big deal. I don’t usually ever talk on the phone. So yes. There you go.

Right now I am listening to an awesome song, by Toby Mac, called “In the Air” from his CD “Momentum” Gotta love Toby Mac.

I have started a new story. Like I am authoring it. I know, I have started far too many, and haven’t finished one yet, besides a couple children’s books. But I have faith that I will get this one done. I am already a bit into it, and can’t stay away from it for very long. It is so …amazing to write. It’s like God is writing through me. It’s pretty great.

Today is Sunday, but I think we are just home-churching this morning. I am hoping to go to the church we tried a couple weeks back, again. Maybe next week.

Lately I have been thinking back at houses we have looked at up north. I often wonder why God said no to that one. It was such a perfect house. So cute and the yard and outbuildings were prefect. The only thing I didn’t like there, was the road, and so it’s a good thing we didn’t move there, it’s just a bummer. I want to move very much, and we just keep having to wait. Oh well. God knows what He is doing, I know.

Well, I suppose I shall end here, and go feed my animals or something ;) Arrivederchi!

Well since I’ve moved to wordpress, I haven’t posted, and I figured I should. What I am posting, is actually beyong me, as I am just typing as I go…as I am sure you can tell.

I am quite sad that JibeNow is coming to an end, but I have found peace :) Hehe. God’s opening up a new chapter in my life, and that leads me onward and forward.                     

So, now for a random, maybe some nice factual post. I am guessing it will be more so random than factual….

Anywho. I got school done for this morning…most of it anyway. I am hoping to stop by the library today and get my much loved book on India that I have checked out numorous times, but never finish…. I am also hoping to get some reading down with another book that goes back to the library soon. I would like to write some today, letters and stories. Then there is of course dishes, and what ever else comes my way! Maybe I’ll even get a guinea pig cage cleaned…maybe…. It would be Furlough’s if I do. Or Piggies….*Shrug* we’ll see!

Well this was a worthless post, but I needed to break the ice ;) Haha jk. I do however have to go now, so I will leave y’all will this boring weird post that wasn’t very factual at all! At least of any worth! :D
