Hello Peoples of the earth! :)
I am apart of Blogging for Books and I read a book published by Multnomah and now I am supposed to review it! So I shall do that in a minute, here, but first, them me ask you: Could you please rate how I did on my review? Like giving my 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 stars? Danke! Here is the review:
Sir Quinlan and the Swords of Valor
By Chuck Black
This book starts out in a city, that shows a very nice life. It is about two young men, in the beginning, who are living a very content life. Little do they know, that that isn’t what the King would want. The two men, are quite the opposite, but good friends. Upon reading the first couple chapters, one would think that Tav would be the main hero here. But when reading further and thinking deeply, you find who really is the hero of the two; the weeker.
This book, is one that will take you on an amazing journey, one that you won’t want to put down.
It portrays the good and the evil in a fasinating way, and with such talent! It reminded me sort of Pilgrim’s Progress, because of the real underlying message, and the top story. I loved how this book was fiction, yet not at the same time. It was easy to keep your mind stayed on Christ when reading this book. Chuck Black wrote this book amazingly well, and inspiringly so. If only there were more books of this type.
The back of the book reads:
“Sir Quinlan leaves his boyhood friend to serve the Prince, fighting a battle darker and more intense than any he’s ever known. The mysterious Sir Baylor recruits him into the ranks of an elite unit of knights known as the Swords of Valor, but when tragedy strikes and everyone blames Quinlan, the Swords of Valor disban, ending a legacy of heroic deeds. Alone and despairing, Quinlan wanders the kindom, fleeing his past. His providential encounter with Taras, a mysterious Silent Warrior and former trainer of Valor Knights, offers Quinlan a chance to redeem himself and learn the ways of the secret warriors. The Training is grueling, and just wen Quinlan seems to have left his failures behind, he receives an impossible challenge from the Prince – one that will force him to face his past…and the mighty men who blame him for the tragedy that ruined them.
Can Quinland reunite the Valor Knights in time to save the people from the Dark Knight’s evil plot to rule the Kingdom of Arrethtrae, or will the Valor Knights lose the most important battle of all?”
I really have nothing but praise to give the book. I was really awed and amazed at the message and the story line. It is a wonderful book for both males and females alike. I would recommend this book to just about anyone, really. I loved it, and I think it has made my list of favourites! It can’t be explained justly, because of how good the book is, so don’t take my word, just read it for yourself! May you be blessed by it, like I was!
Hi, Rae!
This was a pretty good review…my brother got one of Chuck Black’s books for Christmas, and it seems interesting. I would rate your review probably 4 out of 5 stars. To make your reviews better, I’d work on your spelling a little. Other than that, your review is good, and I am very interested in getting this book! :)
Love and blessings,

Is it #4 KoA? I own all of the Kingdom series and have read the first 3 of KoA, and I don’t recognize this one…
Otherwise I’d say… hmm…. 4/5
You do? Lucky! I haven’t read any of those yet, but have checked the first out from the library. So, no. The book I reviewed is number 5 in the Knights of Arrethtrae. The first in that series is “Sir Kendrick and the Castle Bel Lione” which I haven’t read either…want to though :)
Thank you!
